The Civic Literacy Program is a multi‑tier learning pathway designed to transform everyday residents into informed civic operators. It focuses on practical literacy—how streets, jurisdictions, nodes, agencies, and community assets actually function—and how individuals can intervene, communicate, and lead within those systems.

  • Public Communication Training — Writing PSAs, notices, advisories, and neighborhood‑level communication outputs.

  • Street University Integration — Learners are mapped into the Street University civic‑literacy framework, gaining access to registries, node systems, and administrative tools.

  • Service‑Based Practicum — Real assignments inside local corridors to apply civic literacy in live environments.

  • Credential: Civic Literacy Certificate + Street University Node Mapping

  • Placement: Eligible for Corridor Steward, Communication Officer, or Civic Node Registrar roles
